ALT Title
- For the site’s images, it is important to add the Alt Title tag so that Google understands what it is about and can position the image.
- It is important that the tag has a relevant keyword to the brand.
Sitemap and ROBOTS TXT
- A sitemap is an XTML document that is sent to search engines.
- Allows search engines to have a complete guide to all the pages of the site. The file should be updated.
- A page is indexed when it is visible in Google’s search results, i.e., it can “read” it.
- The page must have the HTTPS security protocol so that the user sees that the page is secure. Currently, the site does not have the security protocol.
- Bots are the spiders or crawlers that access websites and gather references of their content for Google and other search engines. Therefore, it is important to keep the robots.txt file updated.
Site + Domain
We seek that search engines can easily find all the relevant content within the site: Screaming Frog:
- Duplicate content
- Excess of indexed URLs
- Unindexed pages
- Site structure (categories, subcategories)
- Metadata (Titles and descriptions)
Titles and descriptions
Metadata is a major ranking factor. By not optimizing them, Google does not consider it 100% relevant to the site’s keywords. Currently, the metadata on the site is not optimized.
Link Status on the Site
The metric to know if the site has authority is the Domain Rating.
Do Follow: Links that Google takes into account for the positioning of the site. They are links that redirect to another site.
No Follow: Those links that Google does not take into account for positioning but are useful for attracting traffic and visits to the site. For example: links from social networks/YouTube.
